Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nova ("Nova", "we", "us"), an AI video-clipping service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Nova processes long-form videos you provide into short clips, generates captions, titles, and thumbnails, and — where you connect and authorize a social platform — publishes clips to your accounts on your behalf.

Your account

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You authorize Nova to act on connected social accounts only as needed to publish content you direct it to publish.

Your content and responsibilities

• You retain ownership of the videos and content you provide.
• You grant Nova the rights needed to process, store, and publish your content to deliver the service.
• You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe others' rights or violate any law.
• You are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of any platform you connect (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Meta), including their content and posting rules.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nova to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that violates the rules of any connected platform. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do so.

Third-party services

Nova relies on third-party services (including OpenAI, Amazon Web Services, Stripe, and the social platforms you connect). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their respective terms.

Payment and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider. Fees are charged in advance for the billing period and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for content generated or published through the service. AI-generated output may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing.

Termination

You may stop using Nova and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
