# Reframe

Reframing converts a horizontal video into a vertical one without losing the subject. Instead of a fixed center crop, smart reframing detects who is speaking or where the action is and pans the crop to follow — so a two-person interview stays on whoever is talking.

It is the difference between a clip that looks natively shot for vertical and one where heads are cut off. Automatic reframing makes turning long 16:9 content into TikToks and Reels practical at volume.
